Voyager Imaging provides integration with My Health Record

Voyager Imaging, Australia’s pioneering RIS and PACS Company, is the first radiology information system (RIS) software vendor in Australia to introduce the My Health Record functionality into its medical imaging range of products.

My Health Record is an online summary of a person’s health information. It can be accessed at any time by an individual or their healthcare providers.

My Health Record’s integration into the Voyager RIS means that radiologists and medical staff at a practice can now access important health information quickly and easily.

Once a clinical report has been approved by a radiologist, it can be uploaded by the Voyager RIS into the My Health Record system automatically. This takes place seamlessly, without any user interaction when patient consent has been provided.

The reporting radiologist can also look up the attending patient’s medical history, including their previous radiology and pathology reports.

My Health records are shared securely online between the individual and registered healthcare providers involved in their care to support improved decision making and continuity of care.
