Tele-Radiology
The Voyager Telerad system has been intuitively designed to provide
image acquisition directly from DICOM modalities, Film digitizers,
as well as provide frame grab-DICOM bridge functions to non DICOM
modalities. Voyager Telerad allows both film scanning and document
scanning on the same station, providing simplified workflow, cost
savings and efficiencies for every user, whether administrative
or clinical.
Once
images have been acquired into Voyager Telerad, the system allows
the user to view and manipulate images. These images can be stored
locally, as well as sent to another location for reviewing and reporting
by a radiologist. Images can be sent via Phone, LAN, WAN or Internet,
with options for compression to decrease transmission time and to
save bandwidth usage.
Voyager
Telerad utilizes advanced database options allowing long term storage
of images, with configurable user worklists and advanced search
functions to assist users with customizing the Voyager application
to their exact needs. This ensures ease of accessing studies from
the most recent to long term stored images and studies that need
to be accessed by the user.
The worklist
maybe individually configured. Studies maybe sorted via any of the
following: unreported/reported, site, modality and also by referring
doctor. All via a simple and intuitive drop down menu.
Features and Tools

The
workstation has been designed with user workflow in mind and is
therefore user configurable, ensuring only the most frequently
used tools are shown on the toolbar without cluttering of images.
