Voyager
Diagnostic
Voyager Diagnostic is a radiologist workstation for reviewing and
reporting of images and studies. It has been designed in association
with radiologists specifically for efficiency of radiologist workflow.
The desktop is configurable by the user and retains the last remaining
configurations for each particular user on the network, regardless
of the physical station. Voyager Diagnostic can be used as a standalone
station for local connection to modalities and Telerad receive,
or can be part of an enterprise wide PACS network.
Standalone
workstation
Voyager Diagnostic can connect directly to DICOM modalities as well
as film digitizers and document scanning units, as per a Voyager
Telerad station. It utilizes advanced database options allowing
long term storage of images, with configurable user worklists and
advanced search functions to assist users with customizing the Voyager
application to their exact needs. This ensures ease of accessing
studies from the most recent to long term stored images and studies
that need to be accessed by the user.

The worklist may be individually configured, all via a simple and
intuitive drop down menu.
PACS
workstation
Voyager
Diagnostic workstations are the radiologist interface to the Voyager
PACS. The workstations access images stored on the PACS server (central
or distributed) and these studies can be viewed, reviewed and reported.
Access to the PACS network is via user login and provides security
access to the system, as well as restoring the viewing protocols
set previously by the user. Multiple workstations can access the
PACS archive simultaneously, with concurrent reporting enabled and
ensuring that studies are reported once only.

The workstation has been designed with user workflow
in mind and is therefore user configurable, ensuring only the most
frequently used tools are shown on the toolbar without cluttering
of images.
Supporting
Modules
Voyager
Scanning
Scanning stations are an option that allows network users to add
new studies to the network and append additional documents to studies
(i.e. referral documents to images sent to PACS from DICOM modalities).
Voyager
Admin
The Administration station allows radiology department users to
provide system administration functions to perform corrections and
modifications to studies and images that are stored on the PACS
server, as well as moving studies to other devices. Functions that
are enabled include; Deletion of studies/Images, User permissions
and functions, editing of study details, DICOM Print, DICOM Store,
Teleradiology and movement of images.
Voyager
Burn
This module allows burning of patient and study data onto CD and
DVD media, with a viewer for use in PC and Macintosh systems. Voyager
Burn can be optioned to include use of an automated CD/DVD robot
with label printing.
DICOM
Modality Worklist
Provides DICOM Modalities with Worklist linked to the Radiology
Information System (RIS) and the Voyager Workstation and/or PACS.
This functionality provides the network with a single point of entry
of patient and study details, with patient and their details picked
from a worklist on the modality.
