  • August 2007: Voyager Imaging has recently installed its PACS at Family Medical Health Center in Springfield, MO. Voyager PACS has connected four sites, allowing users from all sites access to images for clinical viewing, reading and reporting. This is being achieved through a combination of Voyager’s Web client and its unique preemptive prefetching of studies over low to medium bandwidth connections. Ken Wilson of Wilson X-ray, Springfield MO installed the Voyager PACS system and says that "the customer is extremely pleased with the system, and with how easy it was to implement and use across multiple sites. The system was easily configured to their exact needs and will significantly improve their functionality, productivity and efficiency".

  • February 2007: Voyager PACS was recently installed in a major PACS site at Mater Private Hospital in Mackay, North Queensland, Australia. Voyager PACS has replaced an international brand PACS system at Mater Private Hospital in Mackay, with the system being implemented over one weekend, going live on the following Monday. The Voyager PACS configuration included PACS Archive, Web Server, Diagnostic Workstations (including Mammography reporting), Administration Stations, Document Scanning Stations, CD/DVD Burning stations, Dicom Modality Worklist, custom Desktop RIS integration and the recently released Voyager migration tool that has allowed the legacy data to be migrated as a background task. In addition to the improvements in functionality, workflow and ease of use of the system at this site, it forms part of the Queensland Xray Services (part of Sonic Healthcare) network, allowing radiologists to report either locally in Mackay or remotely from any of the other sites where a Voyager Radiologist workstation is connected to the network, utilizing Voyager PACS unique pre-emptive prefetching function over low, medium and high bandwidth connections.
  • February 2007: Appointed National Sales Manager, Ms Cheryl Cooksey. Cheryl joins Voyager Imaging, a division of Intellirad Solutions Pty Ltd, to head up the Australia/NZ Sales team. Cheryl has a wide area of experience within radiology market place including sales management, radiology practice management and radiography.
